DenimTracker
Privacy Policy
EFFECTIVE JULY 18, 2026
DenimTracker is an app for tracking your denim — wears, washes, fades, and photos — with a small
community attached. This policy explains, in plain English, what information the app stores and what
happens to it.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address and a password (or your Apple ID, if you sign in with
Apple). Used only to sign you in.
- Profile — your username, and optionally a display name, bio, and profile photo.
- Your denim records — garments you add, wear and wash logs (including any notes you
write on them), and the photos you take.
- Community activity — posts (a photo is optional — text-only posts are fine), comments,
likes, follows, and any reports or blocks you file.
That's the whole list. We collect nothing in the background: no location, no contacts, no analytics
trackers, no advertising identifiers.
What others can see
There is no private-profile setting: anyone with a DenimTracker account can find your
profile. Privacy lives at the garment level instead.
- Your profile — username, display name, bio, profile photo, join date, follower and
following counts, and the posts you've shared — is visible to any signed-in user.
- Garments are private by default. Only garments you explicitly publish are visible to
others — their photos, fade journal, and specs.
- Your wear and wash history, and the notes on those logs, are never visible to anyone but
you — even on a garment you've published. This is enforced by security rules in the
database itself, not just hidden in the app.
Where it lives
Your data is stored with Supabase, our database and
authentication provider, on servers in the United States. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with
anyone — there are no ads and no third-party analytics.
Deleting your account
Settings → Delete Account permanently removes your account and everything attached to
it — profile, garments, logs, photos, posts, comments, likes, and follows. This happens immediately and
cannot be undone.
Children
DenimTracker is not directed at children under 13, and you must be at least 13 to create an
account.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and note the change
here before it takes effect.
